![]() In an attempt to be Padmé’s savior he ends up being the person that causes the death that he envisioned. This ends up being incredibly poetic as Anakin’s turn to the dark side is the very cause of Padmé’s death at the end of the film when she loses the will to live. Anakin vows that he will do whatever it takes to prevent Padmé’s death this time around which is eventually what initiates his turn to the dark side. ![]() Later in the film, Anakin begins having dreams of Padmé’s death, similar to the ones that he had in the previous film about his mother. Anakin is initially pleased to learn of this however, Padmé is apprehensive because she knows that the council finds out, Anakin will be banished from the Jedi Order. RELATED: DOES STAR WARS: EPISODE II – ATTACK OF THE CLONES HOLD UP IN 2021?Īt the beginning of the film, we learn that Padmé is pregnant and that Anakin is of course the father. ![]() This go-around their relationship is much more tolerable but also tragic as we get to the end of the film. In the previous film, Anakin and Padmé’s relationship came off as creepy and overall just completely forced (no pun intended). ![]()
